Alex is the Co-owner and Musical Director at East Broadway. He has a wide range of experience in the arts both as a talented pianist and actor. He was a member of Belvoir Player’s youth academy for 10 years. Alex has a Subsidiary Diploma in Performing Arts and has just came back from a year of studying Musical Theatre at Bath Spa University, which he has received a certificate of higher education. He is also a private singing teacher and works with a wide range of theatre groups throughout Northern Ireland.

Katie-Rose is the co-owner and creative director at East Broadway. She had a passion for theatre from a young age. She was trained in classical and theatre style singing by Leila Webster from age 9. She has performed with the Opera House Summer Youth Project and was a member of Belvoir Players for 5 years performing in both their academy musicals and pantomimes. She hopes that through East Broadway she can bring her passion for mental health awareness and the benefits of theatre to young performers.

Head of Dance 

Meet Glenn our dance tutor. His love for musical theatre began when he joined BSPA at the age of 9 and he has performed at various charity events and productions at the Grand Opera House, T3, Titanic, The Mac Theatre, Theatre at the Mill,  Belvoir Players and Stranmillis College Studio.  Leading roles played include Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors, Cosmo in Singing in the Rain, Dennis in All Shook Up, Edna in Hairspray and Harry Chitterlow in Half a Sixpence.  He is currently working towards ISTD Grade 3 Tap, LCM Grade 8 Musical Theatre and LAMDA Grade 8 Drama exams which he hopes to take later this year.
